I made up an exercise for myself by asking myself: If I had my own world what would it be like?

This is my result.

In Em’s world the sky is blue with fluffy clouds floating about. The sun will shine with a cool breeze that rolls in and out, gently, not strong. The tree’s will stand tall and bright, and all the leaves on the ground will let out a satisfying CRUNCH when stepped upon. Flowers bloom when they want, seasons wouldn’t matter here. If Em wants snow it will snow, if Em wants it to rain it will rain, and whatever weather Em wants it will happen. The air there will be clean and fresh like the crisp mountain air, making breathing pleasant. Mother nature would be happy in Em’s world, the natural beauty of the world will stand as it is, untouched, unmarked.

There will be no flying cars and teleportation machines in Em’s world. The world outside of homes will be so glorious that people will walk or ride their bikes to places they want to reach, they will smile at the crunching of the leaves under their feet, they will inhale and exhale deeply with the clean air, and hopefully feel happy.

Em’s world is not made for world peace. There will always be people who agree and disagree, love and hate, cry and run away. But this is also part of the world’s beauty. The order of this world is to understand instead of reason. For example if someone is gay, rather than trying to reason, people will just understand and still be entitled to their opinions. There is enough space in Em’s world for different people.

In Em’s world there is no need to steal because the value of something matters only to the person who owns it, knows it, or loves it.

Em’s world allows everyone to do anything they want long as they work for it themselves. Nobody will attack your status quo. People may teach each other from their own mistakes but if you do not understand it is your own job then to find out the right in your wrong. Ignorance may be bliss but not all the time.

The jobs in Em’s world is the same as the real world. There will even be homeless people in Em’s world but they are that way because of their own choosing; possibilities are endless in Em’s world but it’s only that way if you work for it to be. Everyone in Em’s world is equal unless given a good enough reason not to be. What makes this person any less human than you? If you look back to the part with understanding you will understand why everyone would be equal.

Animals are well respected in Em’s world. They live by their instincts and never take more than they need. If humans were to only take what they need without selfishness in the real world would it be a better place to live?

In Em’s world questions always have an answer, if you search hard enough that is.

The best part of Em’s world is the silence and serenity you can find in it. Though it is not for everyone because people crave attention and feel the need for others to feel the significance of their existence.

Em’s world will be seen as not something of deep meaning but something as it is and should always be.
